Educational Journal of Learning Technology is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. Authors retain the copyright of their work. Users are allowed to read, copy, distribute, and use the work in any medium, provided that the original author(s) and the journal are properly credited.

LICENSE TO PUBLISH

1. License

The use of the article is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, as stated at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/. This license allows users to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the work, including for commercial purposes, as long as proper credit is given to the original author.

2. Author’s Warranties

The author warrants that the article is original, authored by the stated author(s), has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe upon the rights of others, is subject to copyright fully owned by the author, and is free of any third-party rights. The author also confirms that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained.

3. User Rights

Under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, authors and users are free to:

  • Share (copy, distribute, and transmit) the article.

  • Remix, adapt, or build upon the article, including for commercial use, with appropriate attribution.

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain the following rights:

  • Copyright and other proprietary rights relating to the article, including patent rights.

  • The right to use the content of the article in their future works, including lectures and books.

  • The right to reproduce the article for personal purposes, provided copies are not offered for sale.

  • The right to self-archive the article.

5. Co-Authorship

If the article has been jointly authored, the signatory of this agreement warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf, and agrees to inform the co-authors of the terms of this agreement.

6. Termination

This agreement may be terminated by the author or Educational Journal of Learning Technology with two months’ written notice if the other party materially breaches this agreement and fails to remedy such breach within one month after receiving written notice. No breach will automatically terminate this agreement or affect the license granted to Educational Journal of Learning Technology.

7. Royalties

This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To the extent legally permissible, the author waives any right to collect royalties related to the article in respect of its use by Educational Journal of Learning Technology or its sublicensees.

8. Miscellaneous

Educational Journal of Learning Technology will publish the article (or arrange for its publication) in the journal, provided that the editorial process has been successfully completed. Educational Journal of Learning Technology may make minor editorial adjustments regarding punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and style as deemed appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published as open access, freely available to the public. Educational Journal of Learning Technology is permitted to sublicense the rights granted under this agreement.
